The challenge was to come up with an interesting way to display information using graphics and limited text. In the violent Norse story of creation, characters emerge from melted ice, which includes an ice-licking, milk-providing cow. After a couple generations the characters turn on each other, using the body of the giant, Ymir, to form the building blocks of the world.

The story is a messy one and the over-the-top gore didn’t need more emphasis. Basic shape was used to tell this tale. The characters look like toys. Even Ymir’s body parts look playful and fun.
